10 – DAY WILL COME

This is a pretty simple pop song, but it took me years to finish it. My recollection is that I started it in about 2005. The theme is similar to Silenced By The Night, and it’s very uplifting and optimistic. I love the line "sometimes our fingers graze the sky but we can’t hold on". The theme of chasing a dream through life, trying to navigate the strange land your dreams lead you into, is the underlying theme of the record, and I think that line sums it up pretty nicely.

Es una canción pop muy sencilla pero me ha llevado años terminar. Mi recuerdo es que la comencé en el 2005. El argumento es similar a Silenced By The Night, es una canción optimista que da ánimos. Me encanta el verso "sometimes our fingers graze the sky but we can’t hold on ( A veces rozamos el cielo con los dedos pero no podemos sujetarnos)”. El tema de perseguir un sueño en la vida, intentando navegar en el extraño paraje al que te llevan tus sueños es el argumento soslayado de la canción y creo que ese verso lo resume con bastante precisión.
