To kick off their recently announced European club tour, Keane have decided to head back to where it all started for them, with a gig at London’s ULU (University of London Union) on Friday 5th May. This will be the first chance for fans to hear songs from the new album. Obviously we realise that a lot more people are going to want to buy tickets than will be able to, so we’ve decided the fairest way is to have a ballot for the chance to buy them. To be in the draw, simply answer the following question: On what date was Keane’s last gig at ULU? Email your answer to email@example.com with your answer in the subject box in the following date format: ‘April 29, 2006′. Emails must arrive by 11pm GMT on Monday, May 1. Please only send one entry, there will be no advantage to sending duplicates! Correct answers will be drawn at random and people drawn will be sent an email by 4pm Tuesday, May 2 confirming that they will be able to buy a maximum of two tickets, for £12.50 each (+ £1.50 booking fee), with details of how to do so. Those selected will have until 9am on Wednesday, May 3 to buy the tickets. All tickets will be sent on Wednesday by registered mail to arrive by Thursday noon. The lovely people at Rag and Bone will send you a tracking number so you can keep your eye on the tickets’ whereabouts. NB: a signature will be needed to collect them, so it may be best to give your work address. Thanks – and good luck in the ballot!
