This evening, BBC Radio 1 announced that Keane’s new single ‘Is It Any Wonder?’ has reached Number 3 in the UK sales chart (making it the band’s joint-highest UK hit).

We’ve just spoken to Tim Rice-Oxley down the line from Germany to get the band’s reaction. ‘It’s amazing really,’ he told us. ‘I thought this song would be like an introductory grower, just to lead people into the album, but it seems to have really kicked off. We’re thrilled. Thanks to everyone who’s bought it.’
