With Strangeland sitting atop the UK album chart for a second week, we're pleased to report that the next single to be taken from the album will be Sovereign Light Café, which is released on 16th July.
The video for the single - which was filmed in Bexhill-on-Sea recently - will premiere on VEVO on 30th May.

I think this song is my favourite one of the new album, it has a special sound that makes it very nice. I love it. I saw that you come to BBK Bilbao in July, but unfortunetly it's impossible to me to go, what a shame, I hope to see you so soon by Barcelona, because it's always a plesaure to listen your music. Very good choice of place to film, I mean....I've never been in Bexhill-on-sea, but I've been to some others East Sussex "beach" towns and they're are beautiful, if Bexhill is something like the towns I've been...it totally fits the song. Can't wait to watch it! :)
Love the fact that Keane stick to their roots! I'm from Battle, where they come from, I'm so proud of that! And this song mentions so many places in Battle, for example Powder Mill lane, North Trade Road and Marley Lane. Thanks Keane for making a song about the best places in east sussex!! x

I am chuft to bits that this is going to be the new single.It has been my favourite since buying the album and def. evokes memories of a mis-spent youth around the north west coast, the road names are different but the vibe the same. even my son was found to be singing along ( a committed EMO)!! Praise indeed!! well done boys, another wonderful set of tracks!!

Excellent choice! This track is topping my playlist by a long way at the moment. Not a conscious choice because I'm overwhelmed by the sound and the lyrics of so many of the tracks.There were several that were instant favourites, and several more that interested me so much that I couldn't put them down even the few that I didn't immediately warm to are winning me over.This is fast becoming my favourite Keane album and that is saying something because UTIS is my number 1 album of all time. One of my favorite tracks on the album - great melody, very catchy. I do wish the track-by-track explanation offered a little more insight on who the song was written for and about. Perhaps a childhood friend or early member of the band? The message seems a very personal one, and there's a mix of nostalgia and resentment that's somewhat curious.

Dear Tim - does the lady (whom I saw on your BBC interview) who runs your childhood fav cafe give you free teas and coffees? Bexhill must be well impressed with you you might well be generating their own little economy all by yourselves. Have worked my way to the Boys at the moment this album has really grown on me.
