Hello again. Here is the third of our eight H&F video contest winners - for Snowed Under. This was another one judged by Tom. Don't forget, we'll be announcing the overall contest winner once we've announced all the invidual song winners. (The individual winners each get a signed copy of the Hopes And Fears Deluxe Edition.)

Tom: This is brilliant! Once again, animation wins me over! Yet another video that enriches and adds to the song. This must have taken her ages but I think it really shows. I loved the combination of text in and amongst the plasticine figures. It reminded me of elements of the Michel Gondry film, The Science of Sleep! The naïve animation is very striking and the short stories within the story are great, especially the 'drowning man'!! Well done!

Tom: I really wouldn't have imagined that a video using a rabbit puppet could work but this is evidence that it can! It made me feel both sad and happy (actually to the point of laughing) which I think is a great representation of the song itself. Lots of great details and elements to this one.

Tom: Beautiful shots, especially at the start - congrats to the Director of Photography! I liked the way it has a sense of positivity and hope - after all, it's a song about looking to the future and not getting hung up on the past! It's very hard to make a story like this work but I think this achieved it!

Thank you, moving the piano was an anxious moment for me. I love it, it's my life and it is build in 1978 so it's very old and vulnerable. But, as you can see it all went well and together with the beautifull Snowed Under music it looks a lot less scary......... X!

Congratulations, Karen from Colombia!! When we first saw your video on YouTube we were like "Wow, this one might have been really time consuming"! It's really lovely... We must admit, though, that our favorite video was the rabbit one made by Lori Wolfe (US)! It's incredibly adorable, creative, and well done. We were so impressed that we even shared the link with our friends! We also found Karen Bates' video really good, we think the photography looks just as good as Yolanda and Martine's video, which is another great one (it looks so professional). Emma from Sweden: your pop up book is sooo lovely! Congratulations to all the other contestants, including ourselves LOL, doesn't it feel great just to have "accepted the challenge" and then see the real result of our efforts right here on the website of the best band in the world?!? Tom/Rich/Tom but what about Tim ?... Lots of fun to watch, thanks !... Animations are great and the last video is lovely too, but once again I'm totally amazed by brilliant drawings !... And true, there's a real energy for a new start/new life in the vid of Yolanda and so it is not surprising that it speaks from personal experience !... High-spirited ! nice detail with the old key thrown away for being replaced by coloured key + I loved the lovely landscapes from The Netherlands... By the way, the rabbits with their weird buttons eyes are priceless and the wandering in wedding dress is fun but frankly the girl chose the best clever way to end up the joke !!!... Lots of skills coming from everywhere and good work☺!
