Photos from Riga and Positivus, the fantastic festival we played last night in Latvia... it was so energetic, right up to 2.30am when we finished our set. That's the last show for about 3 weeks, and what a way to finish this trip. I hope we'll be back sometime soon.

I am so behind on photos, so here we go, from T in the Park (so much energy!) onwards...

I know I took tons of photos of the Guggenheim last time, but it's so stunning. Tried to find a new angle or two. Also went to the Hockney exhibition - it was unbelievably brilliant. I wandered around it listening to "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots" by The Flaming Lips, and the artwork just blew my mind. The iPad stuff too... just stunning. If you get the chance to see this exhibition, you really should try to get there.
I'm getting slightly obsessed with taking photos of umbrellas on balconies.

BBK Live was so much fun. Great crowd, great line-up, hanging out with tons of really friendly bands afterwards, just really enjoyable from start to finish. JQ and I caught a fair bit of Garbage's set, too, which was great. Proper friendly nice people, too. Just ace.

Helsinki:
didn't get much chance to take pics, I'm afraid - Tim, Jesse and I went to see Paul Simon play in Brussels the night before, so arrived just in time for soundcheck and didn't get to hang out much. Great gig though - proper sweaty rock show. Loved it!

Ciao Richard, sono contenta di aver trovato le foto della Lettonia, sono immagini molto suggestive e particolari, poi le casette hanno uno stile carino ed allegro!!!Mi ha colpita tanto la foto del pupazzetto di Natale con su scritto Souvenirs, troppo originale e simpatico!!!Mi piace anche il gufo a scultura sopra il negozio di libri e il cagnolino pure a scultura!I palazzi poi sono meravigliosi con tutte quelle statue e quegli ornamenti , hanno delle facciate molto eleganti!!!Magnifico anche il tetto di una casa con gli ombrelli sopra! Le mie preferite sono quelle dove si vede la scultura del cane e quella dei piedi e il disegno sulla ceramica della Madonna con Gesù!Poi c'è un paesaggio di mare davvero incantevole che mi ricorda tanto una località qui della Sicilia dove sono stata di recente che si chiama Capomulini, è così, con il mare pieno di imbarcazioni e tanti ristorantini a base di pesce sparsi in tutta la località, sai , un posto molto caratteristico che in estate si anima di tanta gente e turisti!!! What a great show: so much enthusiasm, singing and screaming from the crowd and lots of positive and energy from the stage! I absolutely let myself go and had the time of my life. I was so excited, that couldn't properly realise what was happening to me, when you came down and handed out the drumsticks to the fans in the first row. I only remember that I reached out and you put a stick in my hand:-)) I'll keep it as my talisman. I didn't even shouted "thank you"(( So, now I wanna thank you guys for everything you do. Your music is reaaly something special, an endless source of inspiration . Lots of love♥)))

I agree with you Tim, one can take hundres of pics of Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and always looks in a different colour and way. I have to say, I prefer to watch the outsides and architecture of the building more than the expositions inside. (sometimes difficult to understand) . A special reference to FULANITA DE TAL picture, so lovely! second part of that sentence is MENGANITA DE CUAL.... You really catch the details! thank you . Kisses from Madrid
