Keane... You inspired my husband to TOTALLY surprise me. The first "total" surprise in 21 years--that he pulled off from beginning to end--without me finding out, that is! He had to make arrangements for our 2 children so that the two of us could have a date in Minneapolis--which is an hour away from our hometown. He took me to my sixth Keane concert. The concert was at 1st Avenue in Minneapolis. Of course, beforehand, we went to a very nice restaurant. And, for your information and in response to your comment about the frigid MN air, we were able to go more than 1 block in the cold weather to hear YOU. :) Your music is amazing to me. I am a huge fan. I've listened and followed you for 9 years now. It would be a dream of mine to get a response from you.
I liked it a lot!! You are funny! But I think I should not praise you more because I'm going to spoil you!... Well, I will say it one last time: you are the apple of my eye. So, I beg tou Keane, just be yourself!!

Unique, special and wonderful, like all the songs you had played during your career. I'm so happy that one day I decided to put the radio and, by accident, I find out you playing a song called Somewhere only we know, that I didn't know why, but since the first time I listened to it, I knew that finally had found my band, feeling entirily identify. Never change, just continue the way you are, the way that make me feel so happy when I listen to you. I would like to see you again in Barcelona, but I know it's quite impossible for now, so I have only dreamed left about the day I 'll see you in a gig again, that I hope it wouldn't be late, please!!!!!!! haha. Great interview, and interviewer - not the usual, mundane run of the mill questions that you usually get asked - very refreshing. Wonderful songs, as always, Tom's voice just gets better and better. Actually brought tears to my eyes!

@Gudrun, How are you? I think I read where you were able to see them also. That is awesome. The weekend worked out well. The venue was across the street from The Ohio State campus where my daughter goes to school. I got to spend some tme with her and enjoy the concert also. "Old" friend is right. I still miss the old Keane web site. But, we all have to change. Excellent to hear from you.

I'm with you, Jim! I hate it when people ask me, "Keane, who? What band?" Anyway, sessions like these are my favourites and they always sound crisp, clear, clean and Tom's voice sounds like an angel. BEAUTIFUL. I always love hearing Tim's voice....and I'm melting now in 3...2...1...... Take care, boys!!!! *hugs*

"... If I am a river, you are the ocean ..."; "... I'm goint where the people know my name ..."; "... is this the place we used to love ?..." La guitarra y el piano se confunden a veces. Van al unísono. Entonces Tim acaba con las últimas notas. Silenced by the night parecen las últimas notas incabadas. Tom pronuncia más claro que Tim. Tom habla com claridad. Casi habla cantando. Para mí Silencedby the night and Sovereing light cafe, tienen pinzeladas country. No soy entendida en composición ni mucho menos. Pero Tim seguro que explica mucho mejor este cambio de estilo. Just love these sessions! SBTN is "Total Keane" and it's really addictive, SLC is one my most favourite songs from Strangeland, it's a celebration to life and friendship, listen to it all the time! SOWK..I am absolutely sure that in 20 years time, I shall continue listening to this song with the same joy, enthusiasm and emotion*** The interview is lovely as all of you are! Thank you again Keane for putting on another incredible show. We stood outside for two hours last night in Columbus Ohio but it was worth it. Excellent show and again the crowd was really into it. This is my third time to see this band and they never disappoint. They could have gone through the motions but they didn't. It was 2000 seat venue. We were packed in like sardines. I wish you guys would get on some of the music shows on television. Austin City Limits, live from Daryl's House, Crossroads, Storytellers. There are more but these shows are great. Keane is too good of a band for people in this country to always ask me who they are when I say I am going to see them. I hate that!!!! The people in line I talked to all said the same thing. Please Keane get out there more in the states and show people who you are.I know you are just fine with your lot but I'm not. You are 100 times the musical talent of almost all bands around today.I know this will go unread but I feel better typing it. lol Hope everyone has a good day. Jim
