ATTENTION TO THOSE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE CONCERT IN DC: I have a ticket that is in the 6th row (Row F, Seat 125) that I'm trying to get rid of. I'm from the Charlotte, NC area and was very disappointed not to see any southern venues listed. Thank goodness I have a friend in NYC that will let me stay with her so I can see you while you're here. Maybe next time.

Some Keane fans are not getting the best seats because of the policies of the ticketing companies. If LiveNation is the promoter, and in Boston it is the promoter,ticket seller, and venue operator, then certain seats are often held for the different VIP clubs that people can learn about at the LiveNation website. Only when these seats do not sell are they then released to the public right before the show. If the LiveNation/Ticketmaster merger takes place, then the ticketing situation will only get worse. Finally, lower-priced shows such as Keane and The Killers are profitable resales for brokers who target them.
By the way... May 15th will be the happiest day of my life *so far* and when I found out about the tour I was at school with my friends and we were screaming and nearly crying of happiness (all the while people are giving us strange looks, but who cares when you get to see Keane?!)

I kept refreshing my browser for the Cleveland show from about 1:58 to about 2:03 yesterday for the Cleveland show. I finally got to buy tix at about 2:04 (yes a little obsessive) and wound up getting section A row 16. About 5:00 later the same day got on again just for fun and wound up being offered section B row 10??? Obviously better seats. What gives Livenation?? Your ticket buying policy is terrible!!

That's how I got backstage passes and front row for the likes of Tim McGraw, The Monkess and Pearl Jam. I don't know however if it still works that way. Now those people can even sell them and that's maybe how they get on eBay, etc. See all of you in Chicago and Cleveland!! Love yah Keane

But I don't care, I agree, Keane are totally worth it! Gonna see them for my 3rd time! BTW Iris I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter whether you bought your tickets through the fan club promotion or general public as long as you had the password. So anyone know if it would be worth it to buy the VIP balcony seats for the palladium or is the floor pretty good?

hollywood palladium is standing room for 4000, so get in line early! I hate seats...who wants to sit when listening to Keane!?! I'm bringing my 5 year old who ADORES Keane...so expect us to be at the front :) His 1st concert!!!! I need to buy him earplugs....

I just purchased my tix for the Hollywood Palladium show! only bummer is that (i think) it's a stand only room. Does anybody know otherwise? Either way I'm super excited this is going to be my 3rd time seeing them. Keane next time play at the Greek it's a much better spot!!

holbrooks, i gave it a whirl and it came right up for me. maybe it's something with the cookies on your computer. i have no idea. but if you have access to another computer, maybe give that a try. at least your show is GA so there's no rush to get good seats. good luck.

Cleveland People: I just called the Tower City Amphitheater, they said that the seating chart that the tickets are being sold by is the Festival chart, which you can find on ticketmaster.com. Sections A & B in the front, C and D in the back, going from left to right. Seats go from left to right, for both section. So for section A lower # seat tickets are on the far left. For section B, higher # seat tickets are on the far right. Supposedly they are trying to change the seating chart on LiveNation.com "as soon as possible"..... Really disappointing. I still managed to get tickets in Section B, but I thought they were much better than they ended up being. Poor service. :(

let's hope that if B isn't center, then it's at least side by side with A as the festival seating chart indicates. it's just annoying it has to be a mystery until the day of the show. why can't they either sell tickets that match the seating chart or create a seating chart that matches the tickets? either one would be cool.

i will admit, i did see some A sections come up when i was getting my tickets. i'd guess i went through the process 15 times or so and had section B come up probably 75 percent of the time.

I doubt that section B in Cleveland is off to the side-you'll notice that all of us got section B and no one got A or C. Which is also kinda weird, as normally I would consider the front row of the right or left to be superior to the 13th row, center!
I'm hoping I'm wrong and that B is in the middle but it doesn't look like it.

Got my Cleveland tickets! I'm not sure whether they're pretty good tickets or amazing tickets. Section A, Row 3. I've seen there regular seating chart with number sections, and they also have a "festival seating chart" on Ticketmaster that shows 2 sections side by side. Hoping its the festival seating, but I'm not picky.
I got in immediately for the Cleveland sale, and the best I was offered was row 13, Section B. I took it, as I wasn't sure if anything better would be out there. I didn't want to risk it after already spending 4 hours waiting! At least the base prices were cheap, and we get admission into the Rib Cook-off, as well!
Now I can't wait to see them again in Boston!!!!!

i got section B row 6 in cleveland. i let a lot of good ones go but row 6 was the best i came up with. second best was row 9. if you aren't getting something you like, keep trying. i am assuming that section B is front/center. the seating chart on livenation was the opposite of what you would think it should be, being that is has sections numbered and rows lettered. a bit annoying. but i was pleased with the prices!
Yeay! I got Cleveland tickets! Section B, Row 11. Looking to see if those are good spots. Much cheaper than Ticketmaster that's for sure! $70.00 total for 2 tickets. Now Chicago and Cleveland! Woohoo! See you there kids!
Most disappointing that the best ticket offered to fans during presale (from 10.00 this morning) for Philadelphia's Tower theater was in row 8 and not even centered and yet, as the last time, the best seats (pit area, first 5 rows) are already offered on Ebay for $175-247 each. How fair is that?

Hey those of you who didn't get pit in SLC - never fear! If you keep checking back, it's amazing how many good seats just happen to "magically appear". That has been my experience for my Keane concerts. Originally got less than stellar tx - and then later new, good ones trickled out. Keep the faith and see you there! At least we GOT tx after that whole website fiasco!

Maybe it has to do with the characters that you're using in the user name. I just put mine as bed_shaped and it worked.

The Palladium is General Admission. Basically it's an old building that used to host dances and dinners and big bands back in the day. So it's a huge stage, and then a very large open area in front of it that used to be a huge dance floor/place for tables for dinner, etc. And then there's a small upper balcony area that's usually "VIP." Big room, but still fairly intimate.
Yeah! I got my SLC tx. Not in the pit though . . . wahh. But still in the lower orchestra section.Only $41 per ticket is a great price!

ya, I already bought my tickets through the live nation pre-sale....so I wasn't going to buy the others. Just didn't understand the difference between "GA" and "Floor".Those sites were also selling VIP tickets for like $250 each! I looked up the Palladium seating chart and it does not look like it can hold 4000 people.... but we'll see. Anyone know what time to get there to get close to the stage?
MEL....................On the seating chart... it does show seats...but it's first come first serve basis. :) mostly it's standing room. i remember going there to see a band play and i purchased tickets and it had seats but i just walked towards the front. oh they do have security along the sides and front i believe and they leave a space where you cannot stand (which is the left hand side of the stage) they leave a big space where no one can go. i remember security telling us.. "you cannot stand here."
Nah, the Hollywood Palladium has always been GA floor only. There is a balcony area but I'm not sure if you have to have special tickets for up there or what. I've seen some venues where the balcony is free reign, first come first serve. HELP!!! second set of tickets that I lost because it doesnt let me sign up with any of the usernames that i write!!!!
My best guess about the Toronto VIP tickets, is that they provide the same access as the general admission tickets (i.e., if you want to stand near the front of the stage, you can), but we also have exclusive access to the balcony, which has a private bar. Those of us looking to have many drinks can avoid the long lines that will undoubtedly form at the bar(s) on the main floor.
got my salt lake tickets,, row L. not bad i guess,,, but i see all those who got the pit by calling in. i had a hell of a time confirming my order online. must have been bumped off 20 times. oh well,,, it's my first show YAY!!!!! flying in from phoenix,,, love kingsbury hall! we saw erasure there last summer, such a great venue!! see you all there!!!

I guess the $41 tickets in SLC (no extra fees on top of that!) are a steal!!!! (Not that I was at all complaining about $41 - Keane is worth EVERY penny!)

$114? That's for two right? I'm confused about the seating because on other sites selling tickets for Keane at the Hollywood Palladium there are GA and Floor tickets. And the tickets are more expensive.....
Yes, it holds 4000! I can't imagine standing room only for 4000! It is going to be insane!

@arleneibarra: The ticket venues have to number the tickets a certain way so you have a row and seat number even though it's all just general admission.
YAY!!!! finally got my LA tickets!!! so excited! the fees were pretty ridiculous though. $114! all worth it though, cause it's keane!!!!!!! =D

YAY got my SLC tickets over the phone. Online said "N" was the best row but when I called, seats in CCC opened up. Yay now to drive down from canada in may!

I finally got a hold of the ticket office by phone, and scored 3rd row in the pit!!!! Yeeee hawww! I am so, so, glad! But, what a PITA!!! I am so glad Keane is worth every frustration this was!

I seriously want to cry! I thought I had the Salt Lake Tickets, and the damn thing went down when I gut purchase. I am on the phone with the ticket office right now, and they said they are down too, so they can't even get me tickets!!!! Why, oh why is this happening???
