**NEW LIVE BLOG FROM AMSTERDAM COMING ON 16 OCTOBER 2012**
21:51: And that's it from us. Enormous thanks, as ever, to all of you, from all over the world, for keeping us company over the last six and a bit hours, with all your comments and emails (and view-from-your-window photos!). As the band always say, they really do have some pretty incredible fans. We'll leave you with this shot taken at the end of the show. And we'll see you for another live blog soon.

21:45: Just popped in to see the band, who are pretty tired after that, but very pleased with the response.
21:42: The gig finished a few minutes ago now - and the fellas are back in the dressing room - but you can still hear the crowd bellowing Bedshaped out front. What a night.
21:39: Here's some photos taken during a raucous Crystal Ball, tonight's final song. Before it, Tom thanked the crowd repeatedly for making it such an amazing show tonight. It was pretty clear how much he meant it.
21.27: Amazing response to Sovereign Light Café. But then, what a tune.
21.26: The first song of the encore is Sea Fog, which Richard sits out (in fact, he was kind enough to take our lens cap off so that we could take this photo!)
21:19: This was at the start of Is It Any Wonder?, the final song of the main set.
21:17: A neon light during Neon River. (Beth was right, it sounded superb.)
21:10: Keane's lovely PA Beth tells us that we should definitely watch Neon River, which is next (after Bedshaped). So we're off to do just that...

20:22: As Tom just told the crowd, tonight's Birmingham show was the very first of this sold out tour to sell out. The audience certainly seems suitably up for a good time (and they're singing along to every word of the new songs).

19.41: Jesse and Rich have now joined us in the warm-up room, where they're playing through Bend And Break. It's actually really nice to hear how it sounds with just the rhythm section. And it sounds jolly good.

18:28: Lots of you have been emailing about what commentators are calling "Shoegate" (where the heel came off Tom's shoe at the first show of this tour, in Newcastle). Happily, he's pleased to report that the shoes have already been re-heeled. And here they are...

Oh my God I was planning on having a Keane FREE day today - but I just decided to check you out at Pink Pop (N01 album in Holland) ! Theres a woman crying at Bedshaped Tim you should be so proud of your songs. My boyfriend says your songs are beautiful so you don't have to a be woman to get emotional over those songs And then theres Toms singing/performing! And yeah doesn't everyone love Richard?? And Jesse is growing on me!

Couldn't be there last night but feel the excitement! What an enviable situation to be in to have so many spectacular songs in your repetoire now, it must be so difficult to choose what stays on and what gets left off the setlist. Strangeland is a masterpiece how could you leave any songs out, but how could you play them all and not play the classics? Love you to bits!

Got back home from the concert not so long ago with my cousin. Brilliant gig from start to end. Everyone was having the time of their lives and the amount of energy that was coming from the venue was outstanding. My feet are killing me and my throat hurts from all the singing and I regret nothing!!

My husband is so funny, he just came rushing into the house from his car like a crazy person to tell me that I must put the radio on because they are playing Keane - it was a re-mix of Silenced by the night! Apparently there were loads of people requesting it and the DJ says he just looooooves it!! Awesome!!Go Keane!!
