Corin Hardy, director of Butterfly - a fantastic short film, which was the basis of the video for Bedshaped - see www.mysteriouscat.com (you can buy the full film on UK itunes, by the way - it is brilliant, and probably the bargain of the century too). Here he's holding a wall used in the animation, customised with bedshaped-related graffiti (and the name of his band, too).

Seeing as the label are re-releasing Hopes and Fears, I thought I would dig out a few old photos from 2003/4/5. I thought you might like to see them. I'll try to put a couple up each day this week, starting with 3 shots from the video shoot for somewhere only we know... (i happened to move that snare drum the other day, and it's still covered in the mud from the shoot).
I went to see JQ and the Mets last night, and also a band called Hoodlums - both were really good. Was nice to see a few keane fans there too! anywhow, on with the pics...

great shots! in the first pic Tom & Tim looks (weeell, I know they are back lol) but I realize that they are really surprised of how enormous is the venue! I think I wrote here and I am writing still because of my love of Keane music, yes- because of I´m head over heels in love with .it... Maybe I am too complicated, too emotive , but I am not fanatic. I hate the slavery of the soul and I don´t want enslave another soul.I am least lonely in the solitude .... Anyway Tom´s image reflected in the bus window is very strange, more like a dream than reality, very surreal, it is very relaxing to looking at this pic! There are very nice Valentine gifts giving certainly from the bottom of heart. I know these internationale sweets like Twix, Snicker, Chunky, Milky Way, Hubba Bubba , Pop corn, others I don´t know Rich, you are very likeable and handsom on the L.A. Beach./ but you probably dont like wearing a bathing trunks, do you? Have a very nice and rewarding workweek, Sometimes, out of discord comes the fairest harmony....
Hi everyone.. I'm really sorry for being off topic.. actually I've made a video for the H&F missing vid's competition. But it's late couple of days. Currently my job is flooding but I HAD TO make the video, for some reason... and one of the reason is that I love most of KEANE's song, since the first time I heard "This is The Last Time". It's an instant love to the band without a doubt. I made the video but failed to submit since the date is already expired. But then I think It's a totally waste If I only made it for myself... so I tried to spread some love... the video is about a ship that people said it would never sink. Like most of KEANE's song... E sì , è stato amore a prima vista e al primo ascolto , perchè la prima volta che vi ho visti in quel video oltre ad apprezzare la vostra bellezza , sono rimasta colpita tantissimo da quella musica così particolare che comunque avevo già sentito parecchie volte anche alla radio e mi era subito entrata nel cuore !!! Cari Keane , a proposito di musica: ieri pomeriggio poi le prove d' orchestra con i miei alunni sono andate alla grande ! E' venuta anche la preside ad ascoltarci ed è rimasta entusiasta! To me the picture of Tom and his magazin reminds me a little bit of Tokyo in rushhour. Everybody's in a hurry exept you. Kirin poster on the wall. It's just a beautiful picture, that's all. You, Denislavis, don't need to abuse others if you want to praise Tom Chaplin, sincerely. Ugly people are there all around the world regardless of their gender, status, age, and nationality. In addition, this site is open to all people and they can read comments, including the Japanese men you mention.
Richard, did you take that photo of Tom in Japan with the pedestrians rushing past? I think that is one of my all time favourite photos I have seen of yours. Not because it's Tom, but because its just such a great shot and tells a story. It's such a Lost In Translation moment. Love it!

These are great pictures-- they show us a time that some of us may not remember or never knew (I wasn't a Keane fan in 2004, seeing as I was a wee ignorant child of 9 and knew nothing about good music). Of course, Keane is not only about the music-- it's also about who makes it great. I think that you're an excellent photographer. Are you still planning to do that photography book with Rob? Oh, and by the way, I went to a conference about death penalty this weekend which was very interesting. It showed me how countries don't necessarily choose to keep it cos they want to, but because they are pressured to... by the US for example. Thank you for standing up-- especially since you, of all people, can make an impact. Keep on going, Rich. I'm pretty sure I speak for all the Keane fans when I say that we are all behind you 100%. I thought you wouldn´t send any pics yet. Fortunately, , despite of your great night and day I can look at them., and I appreciate it. I think, Rich you are more handsome without beard, but with it its ok too. When I held in my hands first time "Hope and Fears" I have noticed just this square Tom´s leather jacket, I don´t know why . Ju, I don´t know with who I should be with in the situation of the end of the world. The moment of the dying isnt certainly nice and each one must "survive" it lonely. Nobody or nothing / money, impressions or unforgettable experiences .../ helps us but only our inner strength and creed. The TIm pic from Japan is gorgeous!!! Cool background! A piece of scientific news that made me think of Pretend that you're alone (one of my fave PS songs). Scientists have just established the gene that is responsible for human speech. The cool thing is that the same gene in chimps differs by only two measly letters (of several hundred total) - it is pretty rare in biology that such a tiny change in one gene causes such incredible difference at the physiological level.

Oh, God, what an unsophisticated and a contemplative man with book or brochure is there in the picture! He looks like a mythical man of a undepraved mind. I always liked the men with girlish face,because they looked so vulnerable.../ and maybe because of the increasing level of testosterone in my blood, but I assure you , I am normal!!/. and I often or always realized that I misjudged them.....
